Rudeboy: The Soundtrack Album

To coincide with the premiere of the documentary, ‘Rudeboy: The Story Of Trojan Records' at the BFI London Film Festival, comes the soundtrack album, featuring 24 of the most influential and the iconic recordings featured in the film production.

Available as a softback CD, the artwork for the collection is embellished with multiple stills from the documentary, with the film’s director and co-producer, Nicolas Jack Davies providing a fascinating insight into its creation, relating the themes and concepts that provided the main sources of inspiration behind its making.

Irrespective of whether to not you've seen the documentary, the collection is a superb listen that gives a favour of the ska, rock steady and reggae sounds created during the golden age of Jamaican music.
