Desmond Dekker '007'

Published By: Administrator Date: October, 07 2011 Genre: Rock Steady

The close of this month sees the release of a 2CD collection highlighting the best and some of the rarest of Desmond Dekker's recordings from the sixties and seventies.

The release, entitled '007 - The Best Of Desmond Dekker' features all of the singer's best-known tracks from the period on disc 1, while the second disc focuses on his rarer work, with 11 of the tracks seeing issue for the first time, and another 4 making their CD debut.

With almost all the material mastered from the long-lost original Jamaican analogue tapes, the sound quality surpasses all previous collections of the singer's work and finally does justice to the music of one of the true greats of Reggae music.
