Bob Marley & The Wailers' Download for East Africa

Published By: Administrator Date: August, 15 2011 Genre: Roots

A deadly combination of failed rains and rising food prices is threatening the lives of over 10 million people, with children always the most vulnerable in a food crisis.

To help raise much needed funds for the current famine in East Africa, last week saw the release of Bob Marley and The Wailer's 1973 track 'High Tide Low Tide'. Fully backed by Marley's estate with all proceeds going to charity.

To accompany the song Kevin Macdonald , Award-winning director of the Last King of Scotland and upcoming Bob Marley documentary, has created a short film with dramatic footage taken from East Africa last week.
