The next two evenings see's 2 warm up shows for the mighty Folkestone Skabour Festival.
Thursday 10th March:
Dance Craze is a 1981 British documentary film about the
English 2Tone music genre.
The film was directred by Joe Massot, who originally wanted to
make a film specifically about the band Madness who he met during
their first UK tour. Massot later changed his plans to include the
whole 2Tone movement, the end result being 'Dance Craze', a film
shot in 1980 that comprises performance footage of Madness, The
Specials, The Selecter, The Bodysnatchers, The Beat and Bad Manners
on tour throughout the UK.

to Folkestone for a 'Skabour Warm
Up' as part of The Hook Music
Festival 2011.
Grammy Award winner Nick Welsh, was a
bass player with Bad Manners and
The Selecter before he became known as
King Hammond.
In 2010 he released his first album for 20 years,The
King & I, followed by Riots In London
Town EP. 2011 sees King Hammond touring with his 7
piece band Rude Boy Mafia and we are
delighted to welcome The King back to Folkestone!

Meows, one of the hottest new bands to come
out of Brighton, with an eclectic mix of ska, garage and
soul.
+ Olas Boss Sound who are
fast becoming one of the most recognised Ska DJ sets of the South
East.
