As the summer of 1968 drew to a close, Leonard
Dillon and his regular singing partner, Stephen
Taylor (aka The Ethiopians) were joined
by some of Jamaica's leading session players to record a number of
superior tracks for Harry Robinson's
Carib-Dis-Co imprint. Of these tracks, few proved more
popular than the catchy 'Fire A Mus Mus Tail',
which soon became a skinhead favourite in the UK after being issued
on Pama Records' Crab subsidiary.
